We’ve heard a number of crazy fan stories about people who defy human limits (or at least limits set by non-crazed fans) to catch live football action.
Cliffin Francis, from Kerala, cycled almost 4,000 km to Russia just to see one match of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Cliffin flew to Dubai, from where he began his ultimate adventure on a bicycle. He has cycledย 4,000 km across the UAE, Iran and Azerbaijan to reach his destination – Russia.

This die-hard Argentinian fan is now in Russia and is very close to living his dream of watching the FIFA World Cup. His wish list also includes getting Lionel Messiโ€s autograph on his bicycle.
Cliffin Francis plans to write a book on his fabulous journey. We donโ€t know about you, but we’ll surely be getting a copy whenever itโ€s out. Here is a little video he shared on his Facebook page during his stay in Azerbaijan.
